Dr Patricia (Trish) Hill
Dr Patricia (Trish) Hill is the principal GP at Hill HealthWise.
Dr Trish is a University of Queensland graduate who once finishing her undergraduate degree worked in both rural and urban areas of North Queensland where she completed her general practice training. A passionate health advocate, Dr Trish is committed to providing her patients with personalised, quality medical care.
Dr Trish is behind the the ‘old fashioned family GP’ environment you’ll find at Hill HealthWise, and she deeply appreciates the importance of continuity of care. In a world where change is ever present, Dr Trish sees her role as a ‘constant’ in your family’s life. She has a warm, approachable manner, and a thorough and investigative approach to challenging medical presentations.
Dr Trish is passionate about all aspects of family medicine but has particular interest in paediatrics, family planning, women’s health and pregnancy care, and comprehensive care of the elderly.
Outside of work, Dr Trish enjoys being a mum to three beautiful children. Together with her husband, Aaron, the family enjoys an active lifestyle.
Dr John Carlyle
Dr Carlyle has 48 years’ experience as a clinician. He is a foundation member of the Faculty of Forensic and Legal Medicine of the Royal College of Physicians London, a Fellow of the American College of Forensic Examiners, and a member of the New York Academy of Sciences.
Dr Carlyle began a medical clinic in Elanora in 1981 after relocating from Sydney where he established a substantial practice following his training at Sydney University, Sydney Hospital, and St Vincent’s Hospital.
Dr Carlyle was appointed as a Government Medical Officer for Gold Coast in the late 1980s.
Holding a degree in sociology, Dr Carlyle was the inaugural lecturer in sociology for nursing at Sydney Hospital. He was also involved in inaugural lectures at Griffith University Medical School.
Dr Carlyle is a barrister and consults on medical driver licence assessments and driver licensing issues arising throughout Queensland. He is experienced in all general medicine and diagnostic medicine, and has special in interest in skin cancer diagnosis and management.
Dr Cindy Lee
Dr. Cindy Lee graduated from the University of Queensland in 1997 and has been working in General practice on the Gold Coast since 2001.
She has particular interest in the areas of antenatal care, child health, womens health, and all aspect of general medicine.
Dr lAUREN mckAY
cameron brown – psychologist
Cameron loves working with people who experiencing anxiety, depression and phobias, assisting them in their journey towards recovery and working on building back to their ideal life. My work is primarily in assisting you to understand any issues that are arising for you and working with you to find solutions or answers that help you reach the values you set. I work with Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT) and also follow the works of Existential therapists such as Irvin Yalom. He is however able to utilise other modalities depending on client presentation.
Cameron completed his education and training in Queensland (Griffith and QUT) and a few of his roles have been:
- Inpatient addiction treatment on the Gold Coast
- Inpatient mental health and addiction treatment in Thailand
- Program development for outpatient settings for addiction and related disorders
- Private practice in Burleigh, Elanora and Mudgeeraba (since 2011)
In my time away from practice I like to travel, bushwalk and play boardgames and I am a Newcastle Knights tragic.

Jennie Beggs, Credentialled Diabetes Educator
Jennie is a diabetes educator with 16 years’ experience across all types of diabetes. Jennie helps her patients to develop skills in diabetes self-management through advice and knowledge, and supports them in their specific circumstances.
